Spring Service Weekend – April 22-24
"Open hearts and willing hands" (Hymn 58), ages 12 and up are invited to camp April 22-24 to help us prepare for the upcoming summer. Volunteers are needed to support maintenance projects, grounds work, gardening, housekeeping, and the riding program. Many of the tasks will depend on the weather, but rain or shine, there are plenty of projects to keep us busy.
Things to note:
- Meals will be provided April 21 (dinner) through April 24 (lunch).
- Come for as much as you can: One day or all three - we would love your help!
- Volunteers are asked to provide their own transportation, but we may be able to help coordinate ride-shares if needed.
- Tools and equipment will be provided, but if you have a favorite pair of work gloves, bring them along.
- Daily Christian Science "Prac Talks" will start our mornings off with inspiration.
- Children ages 12 and up who are ready to pitch in and work full days with parent/guardian supervision are welcome.
- Earn tuition credits to apply to a camper of your choice. Teens can earn community service hours.
- We are not able to accommodate pets for the weekend.
