Unity
Each summer our CedarS family explores an uplifting theme together. This summer’s theme is “unity.” Unity is about our oneness with God. It is expressed in harmony and togetherness, in feeling a deep connection to one another and finding love and trust even when it’s not easy to do. We find unity as we bear witness to goodness, kindness, joy, and the spirit of giving inherent in all. Unity doesn’t mean that we are all the same. It means recognizing that we all have one Father-Mother, God, who we fully and uniquly express.
We invite you to explore the many reference to unity, oneness, and being of one accord:

Questions to Ponder:
What does it mean in our own lives that there is only one Mind? Or that good itself is indivisible? That we don’t have to compete with each other for a limited pot of good? That we can see the fullness of God’s goodness expressed equally – though uniquely – in ourselves and in others?
“We are not divided, all one body we”
(Hymn 264 and I Corinthians 12)
This theme will give us a great launching point for experiencing a greater sense of unity and harmony with our Creator, with our true self, within cabins, and with all of God's creation.
