The weekly Metaphysical Newsletter is provided to campers, staff, alumni, friends, and the CedarS family at no charge; however, donations help cover the cost of providing this service and support CedarS many offerings. To learn more, view our Acronym Guide.
This week, let’s practice seeing the universe, not as a bunch of stuff bumbling around, but as “filled with spiritual ideas” which are “obedient to the Mind that makes them.” (SH1) Remember that “Deity was satisfied with His work.” (SH4) He’s not disappointed in us! His work needs no “extreme make-overs”, no tweaking.
The entire lesson is approached from the basis of overpowering an enemy, fighting evil. And in each section, with each example of an enemy, we are also given powerful tools to overcome these enemies. The most powerful tool being that-ultimately-there is no power that can oppose God, Good!
Section Summary Benediction: Our expression of God is our sun and shield; our radiant protection. Humble, constant, praise in prayer each day establishes our identity which reveals beauty, health, agelessness, purity and perfection.

Summary: There are no servants in God’s house, only sons and daughters. Put off all mortal sense-testimony, realizing its unreality; and see the immortal man, linked to God, and redeemed from sin, sickness, and death.
This lesson is the very basis establishing all right creation and exposing the illegitimate, false creation-dream of mortality. It is the basis for all healing, all right theology, the Science of the Christ. When we finally, clearly understand what this Lesson is telling us, we are “in the beginning”, as always, perfect and eternal. Moment by moment we are demonstrating our God-given dominion. This Lesson is most straight forward.

The law of God is the law of Love. This law destroys the belief of sin (anything that would distract us from the law of God). Suffering, in the form of physical or mental dis-ease, may surface as the sin is annihilated. But as we “delight in the law of God” – as we see the joy of striving for perfection in all we do – we are blessed. This blessedness is God’s will. Only the sin is punished, never God’s man – never you! Love to do the will of God and your reward is the ultimate freedom to be in harmony with God’s law.
Right now hear and live the word of God which reveals eternal life instead of hopelessness. Judgment day is not a one time event but a daily resurrection as Enoch experienced prior to his ascension. Do it now is key to salvation unless you want to be blinded by the light ~ but have no fear, a Good Samaritan is waiting in the wings to assist! Are we there yet? Patience!
Of course the answer to the question presented as this week’s Lesson Sermon is? No! But the material, physical world so-called says, “But, but, but,” …..” In the face of Easter Week, when the true Christ is witnessed in the resurrection and the ascension of Jesus, we have the word of God in the Golden Text, “Comfort ye”.
This week’s “April Fools” might be those who forget to set their clocks forward on Saturday night, April 3rd – and so show up an hour late for Sunday School and Church!
