Remember YOU will never see your own shadow or be fearful, as long as you face the sun (Son)! And that, “It matters not what be thy lot, so Love doth guide; For storm or shine, pure peace is thine, whate’er betide” Hymn 160 “Satisfied”
How beautiful Earth is. How beautiful life is. But how did the earth get here? How did life appear? The Hubble Space telescope is able to pull in light that is believed to be almost from the beginning of the universe. That light has been travelling for 13,000,000,000 (billion) years. Physicists are exploring the question, what is the universe made of? They are working on questions without easy answers. Such as, what is dark matter and how do we detect it? An estimated 84% of the universe is made up of a material named dark matter, which does not reflect light. American spiritual explorer Mary Baker Eddy grappled with the question what is the universe made of. Her understanding was that the universe has no limits and is entirely spiritual. Since this lesson asks big questions, we are going to tackle it like a big meal, one course and one bite at a time. Rather than give you lots of answers, youll find that this Met asks lots of questions.
Everything I just described about the performance are expressions of Soul, God. Lets list the qualities that were expressed. Creativity, mastery, joy, accuracy, cohesiveness, musicality, improvisation, freshness, boldness, rhythm, originality, grace, perfection. Soul, God gives you your identity. More accurately, Soul is your identity.
This week, if you want to, you are going to grow in your understanding of the Mind of God. New ideas will come to you. They come to you all the time. They come as intuitions, angel messages, warnings and feelings. When faced with a problem that seems to have no solution, you will have a solution present itself from nowhere, it seems.

This week’s lesson illustrates the inclusive nature of Soul. We are ALL Gods children. There are no foreigners or step-children. Gods law may be known by all, and blesses each one. We just have to be willing to seek with all our heart.
Jesus came to show us the Father. Our Father-Mother does not live in matter and neither do we. Everything we truly are, we are as the reflections of Spirit. Yet Jesus came to let us know that we can triumph over life and death in matter.
Have you ever had a brilliant idea that seemed to come out of nowhere? Or have you ever been so connected to what you were doing in a job, sport, performance, or prayer that you felt you lost track of yourself, and you were almost an observer rather than a participant? Thats what its like to be inspired.
Ever heard the expression, getting down to brass tacks? Its an old expression. It means, getting down to the basic facts or realities of a situation or problem especially for the purpose of fixing it. Experience has shown that getting down to brass tacks is usually the most efficient and effective way to handle any problem. This weeks lesson sermon tells us exactly how to take that caliber of direct approach to handling the false belief that there is a power other than God.
Before we get into the lesson, lets define some of our terms. The belief in and study of magic, witchcraft, or the supernatural has been around for a long time. These days we might use the word occultism to sum up all those other terms. Necromancy, along with the general belief in the supernatural (which operates on the supposition that theres another power other than God) comes under the heading of occultism. Necromancy uses black magic, witchcraft or sorcery, but its specifically used in an attempt to communicate with the dead for guidance, protection and even for predicting the future.
If youve studied ancient cultures at all, like Babylon, Egypt, Greece, and Rome, you may recall that they all have widespread traditions of occultism or necromancy. Remember the Egyptians and their elaborate pyramids and all the time, effort, and money they spent on their intense captivation with death? If youve read Homers Odyssey, you may remember how much time those characters spent trying to summon the dead for various reasons. As for modern day examples of necromancy, perhaps one could give some prayerful consideration to the vampire craze that seems to be sweeping the world?
If you’ve ever felt as if you’ve been left out in the cold without hope, as if your rights to good have been denied, or as if you’re tumbling helplessly to the ground with nothing to break your fall, this lesson is for you. Study it and you’ll discover the warmth and care of ever-present Love is always with you; divine justice perpetually guarantees and enforces your right to good; and the infinite arms of your Father-Mother God have always gently held you and kept you safe even when you seemed to tumble.
When you give your word to someone, what does it represent? Your integrity, strength and who you are is put on the line. If you are not honest about keeping your word, your reputation and honor have no value to others. They dont trust you. This weeks Lesson on Reality is totally about someones word. This someone is not ordinary, but is the ultimate Creator. It is God. His Word should always be capitalized because He really means it and is almost shouts it, yet it is heard as a still small voice, too. Do we trust God? We should. He always keeps His Word. His is the only Word. There is no other power but Gods Word. Its the One Law!
