Express Life in selfless giving or service. Use the lesson this week to identify qualities the class will use in planning a way to demonstrate selfless giving. This could be as big as planning a service project for the community or a way to give of ones self at home to assist mom or dad, or to assist at church or in the reading room. What a great way to acknowledge the good in ones life by giving to others.
In certain parts of the world this Sunday, June 18th, is celebrated as Fathers Day. What a fitting opportunity for us to acknowledge and proclaim the one true Father of us all who hath made thee as the stars of heaven for multitude. This would indicate the immensity of Gods creation, the universal scope that is all inclusive with no stars left out. In looking at the vast number of stars in the night sky (that are especially visible at CedarS), pause and reflect on the power of the Creator, not only to make so many stars, but also on the uniqueness of each, and on the fact that they are all maintained by the Creator.
Praise ye the Lord for all that he hath created, and especially for his unspeakable gift, Christian Science, which the Lord hath made and given to all mankind. It, Christian Science, shall stand forever, a beacon, leading each one to the light, revealing the kingdom – the truth of our being.
