Let Peace Prevail! Denounce the re-living of dead history…

November 23, 2020
By David Price, CS, Denver CO

This lesson is a good roadmap for the different ways each of us can feel a sense of peace. So, a way we might start this work is to come up with things that seem to have a hypnotic power, things which you just can’t seem to shake either because they are so appealing or so scary or even repulsive. Let’s use this Bible Lesson to help put us on the right track, to “Denounce” whatever is opposed to God, in order to feel the peace that comes with the presence and power of God.

May Christ Come Again to Bless You & All!

August 24, 2020
By David Price, CS, Denver CO

In this lesson, I invite you to look for all of the examples of light and see how those examples might speak to you. Finally, the idea of prophecy is a big one in this lesson. Specifically, the prophecy, or the foretelling, of the Messiah who would come and be a savior. That Messiah is Christ Jesus.  In a sense this lesson gives a number of different perspectives on prophecy and its place in Christianity, and its place in our healing practice.  So, with that being said, let’s begin:

Just know the “Real Deal” to be unfooled! Give loving attention to not forget or neglect.

May 25, 2020
By David Price, CS, Denver CO

I say this is a great Bible lesson because the topic for this year’s meeting is entitled “Our duty to God, to our Leader and to Mankind.”  This topic is from a Bylaw provision from the Manual of The Mother Church entitled Alertness to Duty. Here’s the bylaw provision: “It shall be the duty of every member of this Church to defend himself daily against aggressive mental suggestion, and not be made to forget nor to neglect his duty to God, to his Leader, and to mankind…”

Let’s learn about Spiritual Reality and use this in our Healing Practice!

March 22, 2020
By David Price, CS, Denver CO

your job is to wake up from the dream that you are a material creation to this bigger and better idea of what you truly are….GOD’S CHILD SPIRITUALLY MADE!!!!!

That doesn’t mean that we discount what’s going on in the material world, and there’s a lot going on in the world right now – uncertainty, fear, crisis, isolation, sickness, etc. It just means that you need to see beyond the material picture and use your spiritual senses to see what is true and real about yourself, your families, community, church and the world: confidence, harmony, community, health, care, compassion, love, supply, self-forgetfulness, patience, meekness, holiness, spiritual power, etc, etc. That’s where this week’s lesson on the subject “Reality” can be such a great help.

The analogy of “taste” appears in many different forms in this lesson. So for the fun of it, one way I approached this lesson was by using the metaphor of going to school to become a chef.

Section 1: these are the tools and ingredients you’re going to need, and this is the reason why these are the best.
Section 2: Why should you be a chef in the first place?
Section 3: Here’s an example of someone who was the best cook ever and how he applied his craft.
Section 4: Although cleaning as you go is an imperative part of cooking, sometimes you need to step back and experience what’s really important.
Section 5: Alright here are some best practices for cooking the best possible meal.

Be an Honest Seeker for Christmas wisdom and Truth!

December 22, 2019
By David Price, CS, Denver CO

I’m so grateful to get to share this Bible Lesson Met on the subject Christian Science.  Just a side note, there are so many wonderful things in this lesson, as I read it through one last time on Friday night, I saw many things I could have included.  But ultimately, I hope the sense that the Christ is here right now for you comes out, for that’s the source of healing and forgiveness.
