C.A.M.P.—Gem #1 Today!— Pass tests with divine help to peck open the beliefs of being in a limited, mortal shell! Cobbey Crisler on I Cor. 15:50, 53 (Golden Text + preceding verse)

“Another conclusion is coming through Paul’s receptivity. He presents two views, one with man within an egg origin, one out of an egg origin. A chicken takes 10,000 pecks to get out of its shell of limitation. Bible pioneers like Paul worked hard to get out of their limited, mortal shells and they communicated this to us. [Mary Baker Eddy says, “Mortals must emerge … They must peck open their shells with Christian Science…” (S&H 552:14, S6)

I Corinthians 15, verse 50 “…flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God.”
One might ask “Why are we trying to drag flesh along as if it’s a party?” [This relates to Mary Baker Eddy’s observation: “Being in sympathy with matter, the worldly man is at the beck and call of error, and will be attracted thitherward.” [S&H 21:25]
“Take up your bed and walk—Mind suddenly takes on the glow of our original, incorruptible glory.”

I Corinthians 15, verse 53 “…this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.”

C.A.M.P. gem #2— “Get ready for “a complete change for the better!” Actionize Romans 12:2 (B3)

Kathy Merrill, Peace Haven Association’s Manager of Inspirational Programs, shared this inspiration as a handout for one of her weekly Bible Lesson study sessions. (Details below)
“In one of Mrs. Eddy’s Bibles, she wrote beside Romans 12:

“Romans 12 is Christian Science.” (MBE Accession #B00017.C)

Romans 12:2

“. . . be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.”

Conformed is syschematizo in Greek which means “to conform one’s self, one’s mind and character, to another’s pattern, to fashion one’s self according to (www.blueletterbible.org, Strong’s Lexicon 2964).

And be not conformed … – The word rendered "conformed" properly means to put on the form, fashion, or appearance of another. It may refer to anything pertaining to the habit, manner, dress, style of living, etc., of another” (Barnes from biblehub.com).

World in Greek is ion which means “an unbroken age, perpetuity of time, the worlds, universe” (www.blueletterbible.org, Strong’s Lexicon 165).

Transformed is metamorphoo in Greek which means “to change into another form, to transfigure, i.e. resplendent with a divine brightness, to the same image of consummate excellence that shines in Christ, reproduce the same image” (www.blueletterbible.org, Strong’s Lexicon 3339).

“The direction is to, ‘put on another form, change the form of the world for that of Christianity.’ This word would properly refer to the external appearance, but the expression which the apostle immediately uses, "renewing of the mind," shows that he did not intend to use it with reference to that only, but to the charge of the whole man. The meaning is, do not cherish a spirit, devoted to the world, following its vain fashions and pleasures, but cultivate a spirit attached to God, and his kingdom and cause” (Barnes Commentary from www.biblehub.com).

Renewing is anakainosis which means “a renewal, renovation, complete change for the better” (www.blueletterbible.org, Strong’s Lexicon 342).

“Perfect is free from effect, stain, or injury. That which has all its parts complete, or which is not disproportionate” (Barnes Commentary from www.biblehub.com).

Acceptable – That which will be pleasing to God. or which he will approve. There is scarcely a more difficult text in the Bible than this, or one that is more full of meaning. It involves the main duty of religion to be separated from the world; and expresses the way in which that duty may be performed, and in which we may live so as to ascertain and do the will of God” (Barnes Commentary from www.biblehub.com).

JB Phillips’ translation “Don’t let the world around you squeeze you into its own mold.”

James Moffatt’s translation – “Instead of being molded to this world, have your mind renewed, and so be transformed in nature, able to make out what the will of God is, namely what is good and acceptable to Him and perfect.”

C.A.M.P. gem #3 –Sift (+) & (-) thoughts for “an expected end” of 100% precious, 0% vile!
Cobbey Crisler on Jeremiah 15:18 thru 31.3 (before and after B4, Jer. 29:11):

…”Verse 18 in Chapter 15, “Why is my pain perpetual, and my wound incurable?” Look at the prescription in Verse 19 “If you return, then will I bring thee again, [and] you will stand before me.” Look at this for a mental sifting of plus and minus. “If thou take forth the precious from the vile, thou shalt be as my mouth.” How much do you and I reflect or image forth God’s mouth or words? Remember what James [3.10] says, “Out of the same mouth proceedeth both blessing and cursing. My brethren, these things ought not so to be.” That’s what James wrote in his epistle. Notice the control of thought and therefore, our communication here. If we take forth the precious from the vile, we will be more like God now. If we want the word to become flesh, we must conform to what that word is. It’s indivisible. It does not have part precious and part vile in it, nor should man.

17th Chapter of Jeremiah, Verse 14, “Heal me, O LORD, and I shall be healed.” There’s Jeremiah’s prayer. “Save me and I shall be saved.” The Anchor Bible points out that the word “salvation” as used in the Old Testament is often used in terms of a not-guilty verdict in court. Salvation is often used in the Old Testament in terms that we would understand today as a not-guilty verdict in court.

The salvation of man would eventually include a verdict of not-guilty, or innocent. This is, of course, the entire theme of Job, his guilt or innocence.

Here is God being quoted, in Verse 12 Chapter 30 [of Jeremiah]. “Thus saith the LORD, thy bruise is incurable, and thy wound is grievous. [Verse 13] “There is none to plead thy cause [of innocence], that thou mayest be bound up: thou hast no healing medicines.”

In Verse 15, “Why do you cry for your affliction? Your sorrow is incurable.” Why? [Voice: “The multitude of your iniquity.”] That’s all. Just because of “the multitude of your iniquity.” There is the Bible definition of an incurable disease. It’s just up to us whether it’s incurable or not. Our outlook, our comprehension, and what we are going to do about the iniquity aspect of it. Moses was shown that man has just as much dominion over the serpent, symbolizing iniquity, as over the leprosy on his hand [symbolizing disease].

Verse 17 is God’s view of whether there is any incurability or not. “I will restore health unto thee, and I will heal thee of thy wounds.”

Religion has got to be practical, especially in our century. There’s no room for anything that’s not practical anymore. There are too many problems requiring solutions. Humanity in its history has run [from problems] long enough. Like Jacob ran for twenty years until he began to wrestle [Genesis 32. 24, 25]. Collectively mankind is wrestling now. As John Bunyan said about religion. “The soul of religion is the practical part.”

In Chapter 31, which is Jeremiah’s greatest chapter, he predicts the new covenant will come. He defines it. In Verse 3 he shows that the new covenant is definitely based on the comprehension of God as love. It’s that very “lovingkindness” that will draw all mankind to God for the solution of the world problems.”

C.A.M.P. gem #4 –Take each step like a sheep who totally trusts its Shepherd! Insights by Ruth Huff & others into Psalm 23 (B5). Apply each line to yourself as Elijah & the widow woman do in citation (B6).

“Psalm 23 and ME”

Claim these divinely REAL definitions of YOUR heritage in the TWENTY-THIRD PSALM!
They negate the supposed “23 and me” genetic domination of 23 pairs of ancestral
X-Y chromosomes and can prove that they Do Not Apply (D.N.A.) to the real you!

[Bracketed substitutions from Mary Baker Eddy to show "the light which

Christian Science throws on the Scriptures" with an "incorporeal

or spiritual sense" of Love. (Science & Health 578)]

"[Divine Love] is my shepherd;" That’s MY RELATIONSHIP

"I shall not want." That’s MY SUPPLY!

"[Love] maketh me to lie down in green pastures:" That’s MY REST!

"[Love] leadeth me beside still waters." That’s MY REFRESHMENT!

"[Love] restoreth my soul [spiritual sense]:" That’s God’s way of HEALING & MINE!

"[Love] leadeth me in the paths of righteousness" That’s God’s GUIDANCE & MINE!

"For His name's sake." That’s MY PURPOSE!

"Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death," That’s MY TESTING!

"I will fear no evil:" That’s MY PROTECTION!

"For [Love] is with me;" That’s God’s FAITHFULNESS and MINE!

"[Love's] rod and [Love's] staff they comfort me." That’s God’s DISCIPLINE and MINE!

"[Love] prepareth a table before me in the presence of mine enemies:" That’s MY HOPE!

"[Love] anointeth my head with oil;" That’s God’s CONSECRATION and MINE!

"My cup runneth over." That’s God’s ABUNDANCE and MINE!

"Surely goodness & mercy shall follow me all the days of my life:" That’s God’s BLESSING & Mine!

"And I will dwell in the house [the consciousness] of [Love]" That’s MY SECURITY!

"forever." That’s God’s ETERNAL HERITAGE and MINE!

C.A.M.P. gem #5a Give your all to find true abundance in God! A Ken Cooper offering (under Downloads near the upper right corner of the online version) brings life to citation B6.

Ken added: “The widow of Zarephath reminds me of Jesus' observation when he saw a poor widow casting her two mites into the treasury, "she of her penury hath cast in all the living that she had." Luke 21:4 . When we give our all to God, we find true abundance, for then God shines through our lives, and we can bless everyone that is in the radius of that light. In such ways does God preserve all those under the shadow of His wings, and we become "angels unawares" (Hebrews 13:1-2).

C.A.M.P. gem #5b“Trust God’s timing and you will see God’s provision.” Thus concludes another Bible-study of I Kings 17 (B6) especially when it appears that God’s timing is off, as when Elijah asks the widow for food… https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BIIyf9IfEmI
