[Click here for all 12 GEMs this week]

You are also hereby invited to join (and/or continue in) our Global Prayer Watch community!
Our goal is to unite in praying round the clock in order to "love into view:" World Health; the blessings of normal, collective activities (like camp!); and, a robustly employed economies to support it all! At "the top" of every waking hour, thousands of invited friends (spanning nearly every world time zone) are taking a few moments or minutes to unite in "Understanding the control that Love" holds "over all." [Science & Health, p. 514:26] We are seeking, finding and sharing with our families, communities and world Bible-based laws of God that help us feel safe in uncertain times (like "Daniel felt safe in the lions' den"). (514) The rest of that paragraph is filled with ideas to prove deadly threats and exposures to be harmless (like "Paul proved the viper to be harmless." (514) To be notified about one or both of these CedarS long-standing, but adapted, traditions click on and commit to be a Global Prayer Watcher and a Sunday Hymn Singer as well!

Prayer Watch GEM #8: Craig Ghislin, CS, who contributed this week’s CedarS Met, also shared on this past Friday a virtual “Prac Talk” with insights on how to not normalize the virus situation or fear it as a thing. Instead as Mary Baker Eddy tells us this week in citation S24, we should “constantly turn(s) away from material sense, and look(s) towards the imperishable things of Spirit.” [SH 21:11, S24] Craig reassures us that as we turn to God, Love’s “tender lessons” see us through each condition with blessings. CedarS “Prac Talks” are short, inspirational talks that have been given each morning after breakfast at camp for many decades. Prayer Watch GEM #10: Hold out for no-tear blessings! Sing more united than ever!
Cobbey Crisler on Revelation 21: 1-4 (B22)—no tears in the Holy City
“Revelation 21 and 22. We’ve already been over it, haven’t we? We’ve seen it in previous Scripture but we find that it is the chosen Scriptural summary, the peak, the ultimate, and Jesus is associated with it. How much purer could Scripture be, coming from God through Jesus to John to us? And John saw that “new heaven and new earth” [Revelation 21:1]. …
John saw the Holy City, New Jerusalem. We know its origin, coming from God prepared as a bride. Finally, the bride prepared, adorned for her husband. [Verse 2] The tabernacle of God with men, [Revelation 21] Verse 3.
“Verse 4, there is a check-off list in this Holy City. There are no more tears, no more salty reminders of the sea in our bodies chemically. We’ve been told there’s “no more sea” in Verse 1. No more sea, no more tears, no more death, no sorrow, crying or pain, not in this consciousness. It’s the Holy City. That also means that it’s whole. There’s nothing that can fragment it. The tribes embrace it at the gates. The restored and regenerated tribes. The collective idea of you and me
working together as chords under the divine principle of a grand music that fills the universe and all eternity….”
“The Holy City: Its Biblical Basis and Development,” by B. Cobbey Crisler

Prayer Watch GEM #11: “Finish your (Bible Lesson) course (& Prayer Watch) with joy!” (S24)
Another Prayer Watcher shared the healing power of “grand music that fills the universe “ and of the worldwide unity that she felt while watching and hearing Julia Wade singing “Siyahamba” (Hymn 592 or 460 in ’08 Supplement) at a 2009 Annual Meeting when churches from all over the world were cued up & shown joining in “A Worldwide Chorus of Christian Scientists” at https://youtu.be/MsL-DmZ3jcY

Prayer Watch GEM #12: To properly end this week of Prayer Watching and start next week, let’s continue to cherish the healing power of “a grand music that fills the universe” and a hymn sing to fill all hearts! Please join us again tomorrow evening for a CedarS 365 Hymn Sing at 7pm (Central Time)!
