PSST Golden Text: What does it mean to be a child of God? How is it that faith makes us children? Faith in what? How can we gain that faith if we don’t have it yet?

PSST Responsive Reading: What is the important function that Christ Jesus plays in this Responsive Reading? Why are we so grateful for his role? What is our inheritance? Where does it come from? How fully do your students trust in Christ? How can we improve and increase our trust in Christ?

PSST Section 1: What is the source of our comfort? What role does Jesus Christ play in our being comforted? What does it mean to be one in Christ Jesus? Why is that important for us individually, and then for all those around us collectively? What does it look like to welcome someone into this oneness who we might be reluctant to include? Why is it so important to include everyone?

PSST Section 2: What does Jesus use as proof of his place as the Messiah when John asks? Why is healing and demonstration so important? What is the power behind Jesus’ Messianic work? Why does Mrs. Eddy say that Jesus’ life was not miraculous? Why is it important for us to know this about Jesus’ life? If it was not miraculous, what is it that enabled Jesus to do the works he did?

PSST Section 3: Again, what is the role that Christ Jesus plays in our lives? What was Jesus doing when he was speaking to the woman? Why was it so incredible that he would speak with this particular woman? How does Jesus model for us ways to live our lives? What responsibility do we then carry with us as we learn more and more about the Science of the Christ? What does it mean to be childlike? And why do we need to become like little children?

PSST Section 4: What does God require of us? How well are we doing at this on a daily basis? How do these demands compare to the daily demands we make upon ourselves? Is it easier to face the daily human demands we have, or the demands God has made upon us? How will meeting God’s demands ultimately help us meet the demands of our human experience? Look at the way the centurion treats Jesus? How do we behave in the presence of a divine idea?

PSST Section 5: Do your students see themselves as disciples? How do the disciples’ examples bring promise into our own lives? How often do your students get caught in professing rather than proving God’s power? What does it look like or what does it take to do the opposite? Can your class commit to spending more time proving than professing God’s power and their love for Her? Where does our ability to heal come from? How can we develop and grow that ability?

PSST Section 6: What is the real manhood and womanhood of your students? Where does it come from? Why is the source significant, and what role does Christ Jesus play in understanding our relationship to God and His power? Why is it our duty to follow Christ? Once we understand our role and identity, why is it important that we reach beyond ourselves with this understanding? What is the Mind that was in Christ Jesus? What are we promising so solemnly with this prayer? How will our entire week be benefited by holding to this prayer?
