PSST Golden Text: What does it mean to voice truth? Why is it so important to speak of excellent things? How does excellency relate to Truth?

PSST Responsive Reading: What is required to understand truth? How can your students begin to understand the little book?

PSST Section 1: What is this “little book”? (B5) What does this section clearly articulate about the value and position of the little book? What is our responsibility and opportunity in reading and understanding this little book? (S7)

PSST Section 2: Do your students understand the metaphor of the leaven? (B9) What does leaven actually do? [Leaven (zyme) in Greek is “a small substance that spreads its influence through all the parts of something”.] How does the Science of the Christ have the same effect on our lives, on the world around us? (S9, S10)

PSST Section 3 [“leaven… hid in the measure of… Science” (S9)]: How fully do your students trust God? How fully do they trust the sciences they are taught by the world around them – the science of mathematics, physics, etc.? What are the implications of understanding just how scientific the life of Jesus of Nazareth was? (S11-S17)

PSST Section 4 [“leaven… hid in the measure of… Theology” (S9)]: How does mercy connect to truth? How does Love connect to Truth [in “the theology of Jesus” and of Christian Science (S18)] – how do Truth and Love both fit as names for God? How is Truth [as stated by Jesus in his summary of the two “great” commandments (B16, S18)] demonstrated between the men and women of God’s creating?

PSST Section 5 [“leaven… hid in the measure of… Medicine” (S9)]: What is the power of Truth? (B19, B20, S24, S27) What was the result of Truth demonstrated by the early Christians? (S25) How can your students demonstrate today this [healing] power [of “Christian Science… the sunlight of Truth” (S27, 162)]? What does it look like when Truth is demonstrated [and “the human mind… yield(s) to the harmony of the divine Mind” (S27) and Truth becomes “the universal panacea” (S29) or remedy for all diseases]?

PSST Section 6 [our “duty and privilege”(S31)]: What is the law that is “written in our hearts” (B21)? What is the foundation of this law? How can we find it [“written within our hearts” (B21)]? As thinkers who have the privilege of being exposed to this law [“and the truth… (that) make(s)… free” (B22)], what responsibility do we have to ourselves and our fellow man? [“if ye continue” (B22)], S31, S32]
