PSST for Golden Text
Think of how active Mind, Spirit, Soul is. What are the works of the Lord? And how does God complete these "in truth"? Can we do our works in truth? What does that look like?

PSST for Responsive Reading
Pay attention to the qualities Jesus expresses in this Responsive Reading, what are they? And how can we express the same qualities when faced with adversity like this?

Does the reason given for persecuting Jesus satisfy you? Would you accept this as a reason to convict someone?  How similar is this to the reasonableness of sickness or sin?  Does mortal mind ever give a similar line of reasoning?  How can we effectively respond to this?  How should Pilate have responded differently?

How can we hear the voice of Christ?  What must we do to tune in?

PSST for Section 1
What is Truth? What does this first section lay out as indicators how to answer this question?  Look at citation S4 and discuss what the further implications of Truth as the creator of all are.  Look at citation S2 – what is the difference between understanding and belief? Why would we be satisfied with belief when understanding is requisite?

PSST for Section 2
This section discusses how Truth operates.  Work with your students to uncover just how they can scientifically demonstrate Truth.

PSST for Section 3
We learn through symbols, we learn about things beyond material understanding by using representative symbols. What key symbols exist in your students' lives that help them see more spiritually and clearly?   Discuss the symbols in this section’s parable. What do they represent? Assign each symbol a clear translated term or idea and then see what the real meaning of this parable is.

PSST for Section 4
How does authority work?  How does the centurion’s authority translate into faith in Jesus?

On what authority does the command in citation S19 rest?

PSST for Section 5
How should we react to others who do not believe the way we do? What does it mean to shake the dust from their feet?

How and why is “The determination to hold Spirit in the grasp of matter …the persecutor of Truth and Love”?

PSST for Section 6
Test the final statement in citation B18 with your students. The Bible can feel unrelated to the life of a modern teenager.  Mrs. Eddy makes a similar claim in the first tenant found on 496 of Science and Health. Practice with your students. Look at specific passages, chosen by you beforehand, or, if you're daring you could open the Bible at random with them, or have them choose passages, and discuss how they can find the spiritual significance, the "inspired word" as Mrs. Eddy calls it, of the Bible.

How are your students gaining experience in practice? (S28)

What are the rules, statements and rudiments that students must follow? You can come to class prepared to lay these out from your own study of the Bible and Science and Health, or you could work collaboratively with your students to come up with a beginning list of rules, statements and rudiments to follow.  (S29)

What are the frail premises of human belief? What are creeds and why must their grasp on humanity be loosening? How is Christian Science as a revealed and practical Science?  (S30)
