This year’s metaphysical theme was inspired by George Napper’s original song, “Welcome Home,” which includes the lyrics “this Love can be life altering, life altaring!”
The message of the metaphysical theme tells us to move past the mortal dream and go straight to God for guidance, governance, and direction. This mindset and practice of putting God first alters, or changes, everything! It sets us free from the tyranny of worshipping the body or things of this world that too often dominate people’s thoughts about happiness and success. This limited and limiting worldly-way of thinking keeps postponing one’s happiness by promoting such lies as “I’ll be happy WHEN… I GET this or that thing.”
