Soul and body are not two separate identities, in the same way that God and man are not two but one. They do not have a separate existence. As man is the reflection and expression of Soul, so body is the reflection and expression of God, as man. Indestructible, joyous, you and me, now and forever. Marvellously individual, yet ONE.

Ephesians 4:4 There is a unity that we share, all working together: one church body, one enlivening Spirit of God, one hope for the glorious fruitfulness of your calling as God’s own people.

Psalms 42:8 God promises to love me all day, and in the night He gives me His songs to sing and keep me happy. My prayer to God is my life’s work for I am the reflection of Life itself.
Psalms 42:11 Why am I so sad and upset, Why am I so disturbed? Why can’t I just hope in God, be expectant that He will help me? I know that I shall have due cause to praise Him for all that He will do for me. He is my help and Saviour! He is my God!
Psalms 146:1 Praise the Lord! With my whole being, with all that I am, my heart and soul, praise the Lord! Hallelujah!
The poems this week illustrate the present understanding of the perfection of man, – never mortal, but always immortal, at one with God, a witness to His goodness. Following from last week, not just Mind-set but also Soul-set! As Jesus said: “I and my Father are one.” (John 10:30) What is more set than ONE!

“GOD MADE ME” – the body which is man expresses all the synonyms of God, including Soul.

LOVE IS THE RADIANCE OF SOUL; SOUL IS THE RADIANCE OF LOVE. “I AM THAT I AM”, GOD: THE ONLY PRESENCE, POWER, AND PRINCIPLE.

Our body can only reflect what God is: it has no separate mind, for there is only one Mind, body has no separate soul, for it is the expression of the one Soul. When we give ourselves to God, not the material body, we actively express the immortal “I AM THAT I AM”. (see S&H pp. 252:15–8).

WHEN WE ARE OBEDIENT TO GOD, WE FIND HIS ABUNDANCE IS OUR ABUNDANCE.
“Hold thought steadfastly to the enduring, the good and the true, and you will bring these into your experience proportionably to their occupancy of your thoughts” (S cit.20 p261:4). SOUL IS EXPRESSED.

“Jesus is our example. He not only gave his life for us, but lived his life for us, that we would learn from him how we must be….
……May we too be ready to go forth, and as successful!”
Jesus must have shared his temptations with his Disciples, knowing they would share his testimony with us. What an example he gave! “Get thee gone, Satan, be no longer in my thoughts!!” Have we put the false sense of body behind us, no longer in our thoughts? “The objects we pursue and the spirit we manifest reveal our standpoint, and SHOW WHAT WE ARE WINNING.”(S cit.28 p239:20) (My capitalisation)
This is our standpoint: SOUL AND BODY. Understanding this, we can only WIN! WONDERFUL INSPIRATION NOW!! Why wait for what is already here? ENJOY THE PERFECTION OF BEING. SOUL AND BODY!
