Ken’s poetry shows THE EVERLASTING PUNISHMENT OF ERROR IS ITS NOTHINGNESS

“EVERLASTING PUNISHMENT”
for Sunday, October 29, 2023

WHATEVER IS EVERLASTING HAS TO BE AND EXIST NOW.  So, what is everlasting? Our textbook states: “God is incorporeal, divine, supreme, infinite Mind, Spirit, Soul, Principle, Life, Truth, Love.” (S&H p. 465:9 God). We also know: “The perfect man — governed by God, his perfect Principle — is sinless and eternal.” (S&H p. 304:14). THE INFINITY OF GOD, THE ALL-IN-ALL, PRECLUDES THE POSSIBILITY OF ANYTHING ELSE! AND IS NOW, FOREVER. THE NOTHINGNESS OF ERROR IS ALSO THEREFORE NOW.

Did God, infinite good, create a zone for punishment? Who then made hell? Jesus said to the Pharisees “Your father is the devil, and you do what the devil wants. He was a murderer from the beginning, and has nothing to do with the truth, for there is no truth in him at all. Whenever he speaks it is a lie, that is all he knows, all he can do, for he is a liar and the father of all lies and deception.” John 8:44. The whole premise of sinful mortal man is but an empty dream. The everlasting punishment of all things material is being told that they are nothing and being seen as nothing. In the kingdom of heaven, a lie has no existence, and “I will dwell in the house of the Lord for ever”. This is ALL that Jesus saw and proved. “Follow me…”

Psalm 106:01    Hallelujah! Everyone, praise God, for He is good. His love and mercy never fail, and endure for ever and ever.

RESPONSIVE READING.

Psalm 23:1    God loves me and knows my needs , – He is as a shepherd, constantly watching over me, and making sure I have all I need.

[Psalm 23:2     He refreshes my life, and takes me to places of safety and constant abundance: wherever I go is beautiful and tranquil.

Psalm 23:3      He gives me vitality and strength.  He opens up before me His pathways of righteousness, revealing and proving all that He is.]

Psalm 23:4    I may walk through valleys as dark as death, but I will never be afraid, – for You are always with me and there is nothing to fear. Your rod protects me, and your staff guides me all the time.

[Psalm 23:5     You treat me to a glorious feast while my enemies watch in vain. You offer and give me the very best, so abundantly! I feel Your love.]

Psalm 23:6    Without any doubt, I experience His glorious goodness and mercy every moment of my life, for I do dwell in His home and as the consciousness of God Himself, now and forever.

THERE IS A SAYING IN SPORT THAT ONE CAN BE “IN THE ZONE”, – so completely in the perfection of what you are doing, that you express the summit of skill /achievement. I remember playing cricket many years ago when I felt at one with the game, and all around me. I was bowling, and in this particular over knew exactly where every delivery would land, what it would do, and that on the fourth ball of the over I would get a wicket, caught behind. It was like being in another world! It all happened. THERE WAS NEVER ANY ROOM IN THOUGHT FOR ANYTHING ELSE.

 IT IS THE SAME WITH PRAYER, and these words from the first section resonate:

Jeremiah 29:11 I know what I think about you, for I always have good plans for you, plans for eternal peace and not torment, and I promise you, they will all be, and are now, completely fulfilled, for what I think is always ever true.

Jeremiah 29:12 Then you will call my name. You will come to me and pray to Me, and I will listen to you and respond.

Jeremiah 29:13 When you come looking for me, seeking me with all your heart, intent, and urgency, more than anything else, you will find me, because I am there for you, and won’t ever let you down.” (Bible cit. 4 Jeremiah 29:11, 13 , – verse 12 added).

 WHEN WE ARE CONSCIOUS OF ALL GOOD, THE PRESENCE OF GOD, THE NOTHINGNESS OF ANYTHING ELSE IS EXACTLY THAT. THIS IS THE EVERLASTING PUNISHMENT OF MATTER, ERROR, ALL SIN. (DENIAL). KNOWLEDGE OF GOD IS “THE DEMONSTRATION OF TRUTH”. (S&H cit. 30  p2:16-17). (AFFIRMATION). WHICH TO BELIEVE???

 “YE SHALL KNOW THE TRUTH AND THE TRUTH SHALL MAKE YOU FREE”  John 8:32

“You will know and testify to the Truth, and by embracing this Truth you find and have right now your true freedom.” PERFECT EVERLASTING LIFE.

 Consign error to its “NATIVE NOTHINGNESS”: EVERLASTING PUNISHMENT.
